A suspected thug was shot and killed in Dandora, Nairobi, and two handcuffs and a pistol were discovered on him.
The suspect is said to have been in the company of two others and had been robbing locals when police were informed of the incidents and responded there.
Police said the suspects had been linked to a series of other robberies in the area and that two others managed to escape on foot.
The slain man’s body was taken to the mortuary as the hunt for the other accomplices continues.
