Former Homeboyz radio presenter Shaffie Weru talks about the recent happenings at Homeboyz radio that had him and two others lose their job at the station. – By Stephanie MWANGI.
During an interview, Shaffie advised that presenters ought to be emotionally and intellectually aware about the various topics they discuss.
“For the presenters who are still on radio we need to be emotionally intelligent especially when dealing with some issues because it’s not illegal, it’s not wrong but it will get you in serious fire,” said Shaffie
He went on to say that he felt his dismissal was not justified and instead of being bashed online he should have been educated on the same and later on be the poster child to educate men about feminism .
He said that the comments he made on the show were not meant to hurt anyone, he has closely worked with people like Adele Onyango, Kalekye Mumo and that they know who the real Shaffie is.
He recently got a managerial job at Roya Group and his main focus will be entertainment. “This is my new hustle and here we do many things, investment, real estate, entertainment this is my new hustle this time round am coming out .
