Former Nairobi governor Mike Sonko has announced that he is looking for a fashion stylist who will take care of his appearance.
“Good morning watu wangu. Si munajua mimi ni mkambodia na sisi upenda ku colour clash sana alafu sina designer mi ujichuzi,” Sonko said.
The former Nairobi governor posted photos of himself in a dapper navy blue three-piece suit with a matching homburg hat, pocket square and a gold and blue lapel pin. In all three photos, however, he had three different pairs of shoes in black, grey and blue colors.
“Hebu munichagulie ni viatu gani hapa zina match na hii suti. Na pia natafuta designer starting salo 30k monthly leave your phone number here. Since conmen might take advantage I will personally call you today once free. Kuweni na siku njema,” Sonko said.
Sonko’s intention to hire a stylist/designer comes just weeks after he shared photos of his massive walk-in closets filled with hundreds of pairs of shoes and designer clothes. He favours Louis Vuitton fashion and is frequently seen casually wearing outfits that cost more than Sh50,000.
Despite owning expensive fashion items, he occasionally dresses in a way that appears to clash several styles, such as wearing a suit with a strange-looking hat, wearing several large rings on his fingers, and pairing the ensemble with several gold chains. Having a designer/stylist will help him rebrand his image significantly.
