The cabinet discussed and approved the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between the government of Kenya and the World Health Organisation (WHO) at the Statehouse’s 5th cabinet meeting, which was attended by CS Nakhumicha.

This important development pave the way for Nairobi to become the regional emergency centre.

The projected hub, which is ideally situated next to the renowned Kenyatta University Teaching, Referral, and Research Hospital, is anticipated to drastically alter the healthcare industry.

With its development, the hub will help the local economy and the healthcare industry by generating jobs and acting as a booming market for medical goods.

This new development demonstrates President Ruto’s dedication to a more effective and open healthcare system as the administration keeps working to encourage cautious resource utilisation, integrity, and vigilance.

With these policies in place, Kenya is well-positioned to make considerable progress in providing its inhabitants with affordable, high-quality healthcare.

The creation of the regional emergency hub represents a significant advancement in Kenya’s ability to respond to emergencies and strengthen its position as a market leader in the healthcare industry.

Kenya is creating the groundwork for a better and more resilient healthcare future by collaborating and prioritising the wise use of resources.
