The Kenya Urban Road Authority has provoked sharp criticism by netizens, after it declared the demolition of a signage bearing their logo on Ngong Road.
The structure is about a meter high, while bearing the authority’s emblem; KURA, Efficient and Safer Urban Roads.
Many motorists plying the Ngong Road route complained of the visibility challenges in trying to make a u-turn at the newly recarpeted road.
The move has led to confusion among Kenyans,
” A case of right hand not knowing what left is doing! It’s a KURA sign and you have no idea who put it there? Very interesting indeed!!, one Kenyan said.
“How does these Government institutions work.. KURA A sunctioned this billboard and KURA B will demolish..waste of public resources” added another Kenyan.
