Chesamisi Boys High School located in Bungoma county has been closed indefinitely after a what villagers say was a horrific scene of chaos and violence. – By gerald Gekara.
According to the school principal, the students complained after 50 students were suspended for indiscipline.
Sources say the students rallied their colleagues against the administration, causing immense damage on school property.
The students who spoke on condition of anonymity, said the school attempted to strike off entertainment due to the social distancing requirements, among other things.
The upsurge in indiscipline, violence and murder among students is increasingly on the rise since the schools resumed in-person learning on January 4th 2021.
