Director of Public Prosecutions(DPP) Noordin haji has received a Leadership Integrity Award.
Haji was awarded for his integrity,exemplary leadership and strategic direction for his office.
Haji took to twitter to celebrate the award saying he dedicates the award to the staff who have contributed largely to the recognition due the team effort they display at work.
Haji was awarded by Action4Transparency that seeks to contribute to strengthened democratic accountability and transparency in Kenya.
The DPP has prosecuted a number of political leaders and public officers who abuse their offices through plundering public resources with the recent one being the arrest of Nairobi Governor Mike Sonko who many looked untouchable.
Other leaders that haji has prosecuted include Samburu Governor Moses Lenolkulal,Kiambu Governor Ferdinand Waititu and Former Treasury Cabinet Secretary Henry Rotich together with his PS Kamau Thuge.
