Police are investigating four separate cases of suicide that were reported in Nairobi yesterday.
The cases were reported in Ruaraka, Mathare slums and Dagoretti.
In Mathare, the bodies of a man and a woman were found hanging on their separate roofs after committing suicide, while in Dagoretti, a man swallowed poison after a domestic dispute with his wife.
Police said in Ruaraka a woman was found dead in her house.
According to police, all of the incidents were caused by suicide, but they are still being investigated.
Cases of suicide have been on the rise in the country in an alarming rate amid calls to address the menace.
At least two cases are reported daily.
