BY LYNN KYALO – One man has been charged of theft at the Kibera Law Court on 25th june 2019.
The accused is said to have stolen an Adidas jacket from an Adidas shop in Sarit Centre, Westlands area.
He is said to have walked in the shop as a buyer and fitted some jackets and shirts before making away with one jacket worth ksh 11, 000. He walked out and was arrested and taken to parklands police station before being arreigned in court.
Norbert Kilei the accused pleaded guilty before principal magistrate Hon. D. Kutu and appealed with the court to give him a fair sentence considering that he is the bread winner of his young family and the only child of his parents.
PM orderd his probation report to be brought before court.
The case will be mentioned on 2nd July 2019.
