Plane Crash-lands in Nairobi National Park

A trainee pilot and his instructor were evacuated on Wednesday after a light aircraft they were in crash landed at the Nairobi National Park.

The incident occurred shortly after the plane took off from Nairobi’s Wilson airport.

According to police and witnesses, the plane took off from the airport for training sessions before crashing about four minutes later.

After making calls for evacuation, the two were picked up from the scene by a chopper.

According to witnesses, bodaboda riders who witnessed the incident also breached the park’s fence and arrived on the scene.

According to witnesses, the two were unharmed when they arrived at Wilson Airport and walked out of the chopper.

They were advised, however, to seek medical attention.

The incident is being investigated by experts, according to Langata police boss Monicah Kimani.
