Malaga Explosion: Fuel Tanker Victims To Be Buried

Families of those killed in the Malaga fuel truck explosion arrived at the Yala sub-county hospital morgue to receive their loved ones’ bodies for burial.

According to the source, the incident occurred last month in the Siaya county town of Malaga. The driver of a fuel tanker lost control and crashed into a ditch.

A number of locals went to the spot and began siphoning fuel.

The fire was started by a motorbike belonging to one of the persons who were present when the tanker arrived.

According to sources, 13 individuals died, while others were injured and escaped. Children, men, and women were among those who died.

Their bodies were transferred to the morgue for examination, and it was discovered that several of them died as a result of severe burns.
